I have a special talent for “getting” my clients quickly, and pinpointing the kind of support you need in order to up level your game. You're a one-of-a-kind human with a unique history, story and end game goals, and that's why I take a tailored, thoughtful approach to working with you. As a former Division 1 athlete, I understand the intricacies of the coach to athlete relationship and know how to bring out your best. ​​​​​​​As a yoga and meditation instructor with over a decade in practice, I am highly intuitive and energetic and I pride myself on recognizing how each person and situation is unique, so that I can give you the exact mix of guidance, accountability, skill-building, and resources that you need to enhance your performance and optimize your health. 

I fully embrace the philosophy that performance growth can’t be separated from personal growth, and my clients get better results because of it. Let’s face it. If all you had to do to become a better athlete was learn the “secret training formula” or "crack the code" to sports recovery and training better, you would have figured it out by now. Most of the performance enhancing skills you need in order to succeed are things you can learn online for free, and you have the smarts to track down that information. But that’s not why you're here. Most of us feel like we’ve stalled or can’t quite get where we want to go because we feel overwhelmed with the information out there. We lack the confidence to try something new or the discipline to build a new habit and stick to it. Or we play mind games and talk ourselves out of what we really want – convincing ourselves that our goals will never ever come true OR we'll start tomorrow. I GET IT and I want to help you face these challenges head on and guide you in the most efficient way towards your end game goals! I'm a successful wellness professional with an athletic background, and I love teaching people what I know! Are you trying to eat clean, go plant-based and build muscle? What if I'm not an entrepreneur or competitive athlete, can I still work with you?

I work with people serious about improving their overall fitness and health - while performing at the highest level - so if that sounds like you, I invite you to apply for this program with me. If I think that I can offer you the best solution to your challenges, I’m happy to consider working together. I will definitely let you know if I don’t think that’s the case.

What is the time commitment for the program?

We will have two scheduled 1:1 training/practice sessions per week, each session is 30-45 minutes (60 - 90 minutes total per wek). In between our sessions, I recommend 20 minutes per day to implement your personalized wellness plan and put your training techniques to use. These 20 minutes per day are not required, but you’ll get where you want to be much sooner if you prioritize this time. I will help you build the routine and ritual (even if you have a crazy schedule) so it doesn’t feel like just one more thing you have to do! 

In addition, we’ll have one 90-minute deep dive coaching session the first week you join the program and from then after, one 60-minute coaching session each month to make sure you’re staying on track and getting the results you want. You have unlimited access to me in between sessions, and ideally, we will communicate via text or voice note several times per week. I’m in your back pocket!

What can I expect from 1:1 coaching within the first 30 days?

The first 30 days is all about assessment, getting quick wins and building a thoughtful, data-driven holistic performance plan that evolves what you’re currently doing and amplifies your path forward. We’ll kick things off with a whole lifestyle assessment, posture assessment and breathing assessment. From there, we’ll have a 90-minute coaching intake session so that I can fully understand your goals, desires and challenges. We’ll co-create your personalized plan for nutrition, workouts, personal yoga, sleep hygiene, meditation and any other unhealthy behaviors that require a shift. We’ll start our 1:1 training sessions which, depending on your plan, will include functional movement workouts, yoga and/or meditation training sessions that move the needle on where you require personal improvement. 

You can expect lots of positive energy! From day 1, you'll feel and experience genuine care, a plethora of learnings, wisdom, warmth and openness. As the trusted expert, I believe in process accountability that focuses on helping you engage with specific behaviors repeatedly over time that create sustainable, lifelong change. I'm perceptive, never pushy. Discerning, never judgmental.

How do I schedule our sessions? Are they online or in-person? And what about the between-sessions support?

Together we will decide on a mutually agreeable time for our weekly 1-1 training sessions. This will be "your" dedicated time slot and these will be done online via Skype, Zoom or Facetime. I am flexible and understand your schedule is likely crazy busy, so if we need to reschedule due to illness, travel, etc., then we work around it and find a time that does work! That’s the beauty of virtual sessions. If you need to reach out to me for "game time" support between sessions, you can email or phone me during regular business hours, and I will typically reply within 4 - 6 hours.

There are so many coaches out there and people who claim to have THE method to help me enhance my performance and wellbeing; what makes you different? What is YOUR method?

First of all, and to clarify, I do not offer a single "best" method to help you achieve your goals. Some coaches out there do offer these "quick fix" methods and give you specific instructions about their method as the one and only option for performance training and success. But that's not my coaching style. I am an experienced and well-trained coach who doesn’t believe in a one size fits all approach because you are a unique human being with a unique background, body type, bio-individuality and so much more. Yes, I have a lot of athletic and coaching experience, but I believe in best practices and personalized development programs, rather than a single "best" method that applies to all. When we work together I help YOU become self-reliant and take control of your performance training, so that you have the confidence, mindset and skills to perform at the highest level - and maintain this work after our coaching time has ended. While I’m here to guide, encourage, and support you (and so much more!), I never want you to become dependent on “my method” as the key to your success. I'm here to shine a light on your journey forward but YOU are the keeper of your own destiny.

What kind of results can I expect?

I'm a firm believer that you get what you put into it. If you're willing to work beyond a superficial level, you can expect big results. Here's why. In my experience, we are ALL walking around with patterns and behaviors that aren’t serving our highest goals (e.g., procrastination, perfectionism, stress eating, laziness, etc.). Most people don't come to coaching with the intention of shifting these energy draining patterns - and many aren't even aware of their patterns. But unless those self-sabotaging patterns and “energy suckers” are addressed, performance growth will continue to stall or simply be non-existent. So my question for you is, are you willing to look at your mindset and invest the time and energy necessary to neutralize any sabotaging habits? When the answer is yes, I've seen extraordinary growth - both from an athletic performance standpoint and a personal growth standpoint - as well as a greater sense of confidence and well-being. I've seen people go from extreme fatigue and burnout to outperforming their opponents; struggling with a balanced diet to eating clean on a plant-based diet and having stamina and endurance like never before; nursing an injury to back in the game stronger and more flexible than before. The good news is that if you’ve made it this far in reading about coaching, there is already something inside of you that is ready and willing to make the necessary mindset and training shifts, even if you don’t know it yet!

Is this expensive? How do I know it's worth it?

If you’ve read this far, it means that you understand the real value of working with a skilled coach, which is you being able to achieve big dreams and aggressive goals much more quickly, and efficiently, then on your own. You likely have experienced the frustrations of physical pain, mental distress and your performance stalling - or want to prevent that from happening - and you're ready for the next level. In order to make the changes you want to make and get where you want to be in your career (and in life!), it’s going to require commitment. By making a financial investment, it’s a way of affirming that you are ALL IN – that you’re ready and willing to commit the time, energy, and resources to grow as an athlete and become the healthiest, happiest version of you! While I have the experience, wisdom, and tools to guide you, the end result will largely be determined by your hard work and dedication. That’s why this program is an investment. Not only because I’m giving you so much of my time, energy, attention, and knowledge, but because I want to make sure that you’re ready to show up and meet me halfway.
